Our members are all volunteers who live in Bonney Lake and nearby communities who enjoy identifying good causes in our community.

♻️ Kiwanis and Key Club Working Together♻️
Kiwanis and Bonney Lake High School Key Club members joined forces at the Beautify Bonney Lake Event. Our site was the Prairie Ridge Community Center, where volunteers pulled weeds, picked up debris, and painted fixtures and picnic tables. A big thank you to everyone who helped keep our city looking its best!
Communities For Families
The Communities for Families Coalition monthly meeting at the Gordon YMCA was packed as community members and service volunteers gathered to watch Red Canoe Credit Union present a matching check for the back-to-school supplies drive to the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District. Donations from local community service groups were matched pound for pound and dollar for dollar, totaling $15,187.95. Groups collected, packaged, and distributed backpacks and school supplies to help ease the burden on families. Our Kiwanis Club joined other volunteers to hand out over 1,500 backpacks to 600 families.

Kiwanis members volunteered to hand out free backpacks filled with school supplies during the second of three Sumner Bonney Lake School District Back to School distribution days. Providing backpacks and starter supplies helps ease the financial burden on families during this busy season. Each family also received a “swag bag” packed with community resource information and fun items. Local service providers were on-site as well, sharing helpful materials. Our hope is that everyone feels supported, not just with material goods, but through the care and kindness shown. This is about encouraging students and letting them know their community and school truly care about their education—let’s cheer them on!

Kiwanis and Key Club members teamed up to clean our Adopt-A-Street section near the high school. It was a great morning of service, teamwork, and community pride. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help keep our city looking its best!
